This first year has been a huge year for learning new things and acquiring new skills. As I look back and compare my first  paper to my final draft of my significant paper I realize that at first I was shy and scared to let anyone else read my work. I thought that the more I wrote the better my paper would be. I had a lot of unneeded information and fluff that needed to be deleted but I had never done so and therefore my paper lacked interest and excitement. the less I wrote the better my papers got. my other problem was connecting my claims to my thesis which became much easier as the year went on. I’m no longer shy and I use everything at my disposal to make sure that all of the parts of my paper are there and in the proper order. I now have 3-4 rough drafts of my paper because I use my peers, roommates, and sometimes my professor to edit my paper making sure its top notch. looking back at all of my papers one sticks out to me where I improved the most.  my second paper prompt about arts and how it can be incorporated into Medicine as well as STEM education. the links to my free draft and final draft of my second paper are here.free draft for paper #2,  final draft for paper 2.  this learning outcome discusses revising our early work to see how our revising changed between our first and final draft of a significant paper. my advances in revision have helped and paved my way through this class.

Moving from a high-school writing format to a college format was tough but after significant revision and reading, It became easier and easier as the year went on.throughout the class I was blind to the proper formatting that a paper needed to be In, I didn’t have a header, my name and titles were all over the place and not in the place they should be in. This class has taught me things that I’m going to use later in my life to write countless other papers. as for revision itself I will be constantly reminded to have a peer or a friend or a roommate look over my paper before I turn it in every time.
