Peer review is a main practice in this class and it got much easier as the year went on.  At first I would make comments like “Local error”, or “fix this sentence”, but I began to make more complex comments like “try to make the sentence more clear and use less of this word”, or “you use this word to much in this sentence try to make it flow better nad use less of that word”. As my peer review practice went on I began to better understand what was really being asked of me and I feel like I helped out my peers a lot more as the year went on. Weight more feedback came better grades and better understanding of what was wrong with the paper nad how i could fix it.

while going over the amount of knowledge I have gained this year I came across and old peer edit that I had done for a fellow student in class. the link for that specific peer edit can be found here:peer edits

while not only identifying local errors in this specific peer review, I identified global errors as well as successes. one instance is in comment 4 where I applaud the writer for identifying “yo-yo ma’s restrictions as to what art can do for society”. the global and local errors that I have commented on throughout the peer review time helps the writer fix  there paper and make art stronger.
